Creative Electron is a fast‐growing small business 30 miles North of San Diego looking for an outstanding Electrical/Electronics Engineer to help us grow our business. The successful candidate must strive in a fast pace and dynamic environment. A MSEE or MSCS with two or more years of applicable experience is desired. This experience must include using up-to-date computer-aided-engineering software (e.g., Xilinx ISE and Orcad), simulation tools (e.g., Matlab and PSpice), and programming language (C/C++ and VHDL or Verilog). At least l year of experience programming microprocessors or DSPs is also desirable. Knowledge of CZT detectors and/or other radiation detection technologies are a plus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Development of signal processing techniques for two funded R&D programs in homeland security and defense.
• Coding of algorithms in C++ and Matlab.
• Hardware and firmware design, implementation, and testing.
• Design of data acquisition systems with FPGAs and ASICs.
• Analysis of programmatic data analysis and preparation of reports.
