Creative Electron, Inc. (CEI) is solving this problem with the Medical Voice Recorder. MVR will replace the existing method of documenting casualties in theater, which is in most cases writing on the warfighter's body with a permanent marker. MVR will not only store specific diagnostic information, but also data on drug administrated to the patient. MVR leverages CEI's decades of experience in developing microphone arrays for sound and ultrasound signal processing.
MVR will be capable to transfer accurate information regarding the conditions in which soldiers were injured, thus providing continuity of medical records. By providing a small form factor solution, analogous to the current dog tag, capable of withstanding physical and environmental insult as well as actively reducing ambient noise, pertinent medical information could be carried forward in a secure and continuous fashion.
